SHE cherished me in her arms,
When I stepped into this universe.
SHE kissed me with love,
When I opened my eyes first.

SHE revolted against my father,
To prove me right.
SHE opposed my mother,
To make me feel light.

SHE grinned with HER heart open,
Every time I dallied with HER.
SHE made possible,
Everything I asked for.

SHE sang me cradle songs,
When I never understood much.
Today when I can infer every utter,
SHE lies placid in her couch.

How could God snatch HER from me?!!
How could He lone me..!!
I had heard of His privation for eternal beings,
And this time it was my self-less Granny !!

I miss HER so much; SHE was indeed a unique creation,
My adorable Granny, will always be my divine possession !!!

Ode to My "Pen"

There lay my sword helpless and unaccompanied;

For I have not accorded it now for ages.

Looks spate through the air to meet mine;

To explore the profundity of my cages.

I gaze it with a tacit look;

When my senses dive into the yesteryear.

Me fagging, enduring and ascertaining;

Sans any halt …sans any fear.

How I manifested the intuitive feeling in me;

How I basked in glory.

How every moment had a special vigor;

Every word had a story.

I demand to rationalize the wilder me;

A reason for the abrupt doom.

Alas !! I fail miserably;

I wish I could come back soon.

My eyes wide open, heart gasping hard;

I rush through the thoughts that I shortly had.

I take a vow never to forfeit , never to lone my sword;

For it has known the genuine me, it is my God.

"Years back…when I was a kid.....

Little did I apprehend…...that...life can be so complicate.

Everything seemed so simple and fair...
Love n compassion seemed to be everywhere.
With every passing day m still unveiling ….
Untold realities of life some bad…some overwhelming.
As I grow old first by a moment then stretched to a day....
I ask myself...What have I lost and what have I gained?!!!
Being with friends and foes. Any of them you can’t ignore…
If today is a dark night, a sunny day is on the threshold.
Nobody is devoid of his share of love and care….
Be it from one….or many may be there.
Good and Bad…White and Black. How antonymous they may sound....
They move together, hand in hand and to confront both you are bound.
All are puppets in the hands of FATE....
CHANCE and OPPORTUNITY are only meant to motivate.
The only thing that is in our hand...
Is to await the SECOND COMING that is sure to land.
Love all Hate none. Still these holy words prevail..
This Truth beyond eternity is waiting for us to avail. "

With dreams in my eyes I sit by my window again.
The street lights are on, the birds are gone…
Here comes the charming Moon shining like the Sun.
The cool evening breeze,with its soothing swift feel…
Provoke the curls to annoy me.
With little effort I manage with those….
Gazing at the distant horizon, where the sea embracess the Sun.
With my face resting on my palm…
I wonder how splendid is nature’s lap.

I ask the Nature to show me the magic wand…
That sculptured my Near and Dear ones
There comes the Unicorn, Calls himself the messenger…
Holds my wonder fair….
For my loved ones r epitome of love n care.”
